The display unit, made from a panel of cardboard, plastic etc., has a central fold forming two wings set at an obtuse angle to one another. Portions of the panel are cut to make retaining straps (10) and a support (7) for the base of the displayed article (18). Variants of the design can have two or more adjoining panels for displaying more than one article at a time, and the straps can be in a variety of shapes and include symbols. The unit can also be used as a holder and carrier.
