The heat engine consists of a cylinder (13), which is symmetrical about the plane of the crankshaft (8), which passes through the center of the cylinder. The cylinder forms a central chamber, in which slides the main body of the multistage piston (1), and two symmetrical side chambers (21), forming the extremities of the cylinder. The multistage central piston design allows the engine to have two cycles, five strokes simultaneously, of phases of 180 deg. with an explosion for each half turn.
