<p>The invention concerns a method and boxes using said method, for removing the base and/or closing cover (8), from the can-band carton (1) of a drum-like box made of cardboard or the like, said can-band carton (1) being prismatic and consisting of mutually adjacent vertical side panels (2-5), and said cover (8) comprising a central panel (9) similar in shape and dimensions as the can-band carton (1) horizontal polygonal section and being extended along its sides, by flaps (10-13), folded perpendicularly upwards and bonded in their end parts on the lower parts of the outer surfaces of the panels (2-5) constituting the can-band carton (1). The invention is characterised in that the method consists in cutting out said flaps (10-13) all around the side panels (2-5) along a median line (17) between the bonding zone (16) of said flaps on said panels (2-5) and their linking zone with the central panel (9) so as to separate the cover 88) from the can-band carton(1) without cutting out the latter. The invention is applicable to drum-like boxes equipped with heat-shrinkable film (18).</p> |
