<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing artificial aggregate safely utilizable as aggregate for concrete, etc., enabling the recycling of industrial and domestic wastes and free from the problem of the destruction of natural, environment. SOLUTION: The objective artificial aggregate is produced either by melting waste plastic with heat and mixing and stirring sludge dust into the obtained molten plastic or by producing a clay-like material from the above mixture, extruding through a nozzle, processing the extruded material to a prescribed particle size and cooling the product with water or air. Accordingly, waste plastics generated as industrial and domestic wastes can be recycled by combining with sludge dust unsuitable for dumping disposal without using natural resources such as sand and crushed stone.</p> |
