<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dry toner excellent in powder flowability, low temp. fixability and anti-hot offsetting property and not requiring a producing process such as comminuting by incorporating particles formed by the extension reaction and/or crosslinking reaction of a prepolymer with a compd. having plural functional groups capable of reacting with active hydrogen groups in one molecule in an aq. medium. SOLUTION: The dry toner contains a binder component comprising resin particles formed by the extension reaction and/or crosslinking reaction of a prepolymer with a compd. having two or more functional groups capable of reacting with active hydrogen groups in an aq. medium. The wt. average mol.wt. of the prepolymer is >=10,000, preferably 20,000-10,000,000, especially preferably 30,000-1,000,000. In the case of <10,000, anti-hot offsetting property deteriorates. The particle diameter of the particles is 2-20μm, preferably 3-15μm median diameter from the viewpoint of developing performance and resolution.</p> |
