PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming method and a device therefor wherein the productivity is not lowered and such a condition that a laminated item is expanded or contracted due to a change in temperature and hence a cutting position is displaced so that a proper trimming can not be performed can be avoided effectively. SOLUTION: Heated air is blown against a laminated item 1 from an air blow device 16 until immediately before excessive portions 5A, 5B of a sheet 5 are cut off from the item 1 to adjust the temperature of the sheet to a set temperature. On the other hand, heated water is circulated through heated water passages 25, 35 provided respectively in a press cut die 20 and a driven cut die 30, which constitute a trimming device, to keep both the dies at a set temperature. |
