PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin binder compsn. for inorg. boards. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains an aq. emulsion contg. polymer particles dispersed therein, the polymer contg. 1-30 wt.% at least one kind of repeating units selected from among repeating units having pendant groups having groups of atoms represented by the formula (wherein R is a 1-30C hydrocarbon group). When inorg. boards are processed with the compsn., following effects are obtd.: the compsn. exhibits an excellent adsorptivity by the boards (affinity with and remaining properties in the boards) and an excellent stability in the boards; and the efflorescence resistance of the boards is excellent. |
