<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the power consumption in detail and to reduce the power consumption by detecting the sum of electric power that a resource modules consume exceeding a power consumable value in such a case and informing a stage stalling means of that as a hazard condition. SOLUTION: Stage power consumption hazard detecting means 31A to 35A decide whether or not the power consumption of stages in following unit cycles is less than the power consumable value to detect the state in such a case, and inform the respective stage stall means 31 to 35 of that as the hazard condition respectively. The respective stage stall means 31 to 35 stalls stages of a pipeline according to the hazard condition of the stages. Consequently, the pipeline advances in order within the range of the power consumable value and the execution speed can be adjusted by evaluating the power consumption of necessary resource modules in unit cycles of the time of the processor execution.</p> |
