CONVERSION OF WASTE PLASTIC INTO OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conversion of a waste plastic into an oil by which equipment for conversion of the waste plastic into the oil is held compact while suppressing the chlorine concentration in the product oil to a low value and even the equipment cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A waste plastic 12 containing an organic chlorine compound and an alkaline solid material 18 are mixed and then fed to a pyrolytic device 13 or both are separately fed thereto to carry out the pyrolysis. A neutralized salt produced by a chemical reaction of the chlorine compound with the alkaline solid material 18 is taken as a residue 20 to the outside and a pyrolytic gas 19 is generated and condensed to produce a product oil 21 with a low chlorine concentration.
