PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a manufacturing method of jet recording paper having a high surface property by preparing two kinds of water soluble paint being Newtonian liquid, having a viscosity that is in a predetermined range at a predetermined temperature, and including a solid component that is in the range of predetermined wt.%. SOLUTION: A first slit 2 is fed through continuous extrusion with water soluble paint for forming a lower layer from a feeding source, and a second slit 3 is fed through continuous extrusion with water soluble paint for forming a uppermost layer from another feeding source; each paint is applied concurrently in superimposed relation on a base material 4 to be printed for forming a coated film 7 of the upper layer paint on a coated film 6 of the lower layer paint. A backup roller 5 is installed for the purpose of achieving steady traveling of the base material 4 to be printed and a stable application of paint. Both upper layer paint and lower layer paint to be applied adjacently are Newtonian liquid, whose viscosity is in the range of 50-500 cP at 30 deg.C, and solid component is 3-20 wt.%. Employing such paint allows manufacturing of an ink jet recording paper having an extremely high surface property. |
