PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drivability under an environment of narrow view such as a blind curve in a vehicle controller which conducts vehicle control according to the surrounding conditions of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a distance measuring means 1 for measuring a distance to an obstacle in an arbitrary direction ahead of a self-vehicle, and a view distance extracting means 2 for extracting a view distance from the measured results to conduct prescribed control for vehicle driving based on the view distance. It is thus possible to conduct control next to a driver's sense corresponding to an actual environment. |
