PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper by which the leakage of feces is effectively prevented. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 is provided with a liquid permeable top sheet, a back sheet facing it, an absorptive main body 3 having an absorbing body, which is arranged between the sheets and a water repellent most external layer sheet 2 which is joined with the absorptive main body 3 so as to execute holding by putting the absorptive main body on a wearing person around his waist at the time of wearing. The respective both side edge parts of a belly side part positioned at the belly side of the most external layer sheet 2 and a back side part positioned at a back side are joined and fixed so as to form a waist opening part 11 and a pair of leg opening parts 7 and 7. The most external layer sheet 2 is formed through the use of nonwoven cloth, an extending/contracting elastic member (a third elastic member) 13 is arranged so as to form leg gathers 13a and parts where the leg gathers 13a are formed in the most external layer sheet 2 are separated from the back sheet. |
