PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired fuel flow even when an included angle of a nozzle hole is not formed corresponding to a prescribed included angle caused by the machining allowance or the like, by connecting a main well in the downstream from a sheet part of a valve element, to the nozzle hole through a fuel metering passage comprising an uniform passage section. SOLUTION: A nozzle hole 74 is extended in a state that it is inclined to a central axis of a fuel injection valve body 71 at a prescribed angelθ1, a height(H) of the nozzle hole 74 is almost uniform at every position, a width of the nozzle hole 74 is gradually narrowed toward the inside with a prescribed included angle, and a width(W) of an external opening of the nozzle hole 74 is larger than the height(H). A side face 74a in the height direction of the main well 72c side of the nozzle hole 74 and the fuel tank 72c are connected by a fuel metering passage 75 having an uniform passage section, whereby the desired fuel flow can be obtained even when the included angle of the nozzle hole 74 is not formed corresponding to a prescribed included angle caused by the machining allowance or the like.
