IMAGE PROCESSOR AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and its method capable of simply and quickly executing variable power processing by executing the variable power processing simultaneously when an image signal in an encoded converted space is returned to a real space image signal. SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with an original image position calculation part 1 for calculating the position of an original image before variable power processing against a noticed pixel of an image after variable power processing, a block extraction part 3 for extracting the image data before variable power processing for two sets of blocks near to the calculated original picture, a distance calculation part 3 for calculating a distance between the position of the calculated original image and the position of the extracted image data and an attribute calculation part 4 for calculating the attribute of the image data at the position before variable power processing against the noticed pixel by the use of a table based on the distance of the calculated image data and the attribute.
