摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the pre-load setting work, and the detachment and positioning of inner and outer rings by fitting a stop ring between a recessed stepped part formed at a part close to an outer circumferential edge and a locking recessed groove of an inner circumferential surface of a housing of end faces opposite to each other of a first and a second outer rings. SOLUTION: The shape and dimensions of each outer ring and each rolling element are regulated so as to provide appropriate pre-load on rolling elements 12, 12 in a condition where inner end faces of inner rings 2a, 2a and outer rings 4b, 4b are butted to each other. Recessed stepped parts 17, 17 are formed at a part close to an outer circumferential edge of an inner end pace of the outer rings 4b, 4b, and a fixed side locking groove 14a is formed in an outer circumferential surface of a butted part. A stop ring 16 is stretched between the locking groove 14a and a fixed side locking groove 15 formed in an intermediate part of an inner circumferential surface of a housing 5 to position the outer rings 4b, 4b in the axial direction. The stop ring 16 is slightly displaceable in the axial direction so as not to affect the pre-loading to the rolling elements 12, 12, and a troublesome load regulation and strict dimensional accuracy of components other than a bearing body are unnecessary.
