PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a timing signal on next reception even when failing in receiving the timing signal in a clock with a time correction function for intermittently receiving the timing signal and correcting based on the timing signal. SOLUTION: A reception result of a previous on-the-hour signal is reflected by a variable that is a RIREKI being provided at a RAM in a control circuit 22, and the control circuit 22 determines a next power supply time width to a FM radio reception unit 1 according to the value. In the case of RIREKE = 0, the power supply time width to the FM radio reception unit 1 is set to 2 minutes (AM 7 o'clock ± 1 minute). In the case of RIREKI = 1, it is set to 30 seconds (AM 7 o'clock ± 15 seconds), and in the case of RIREKI = 2, it is set to 10 seconds (AM 7 o'clock ± 5 seconds). When the on-the-hour- signal is successfully received, a digit 1 is added to the RIREKI. On the other hand, when the reception fails, the digit 1 is subtracted from the RIREKI. The control circuit 22 controls the power supply time width to the FM radio reception unit 1 according to the value. |
