PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high capacity of the optical disk by selecting a track interval of a recordable area smaller than a track interval of a reproduction exclusive area to reduce a track interval of the recordable area up to a limit at which data recording and reproduction is possible with high reliability. SOLUTION: In the optical disk 101 having a recordable area 103 where information is recorded and reproduced and a reproduction exclusive area 102 where information is read, a track interval between a land track an a groove track is formed smaller than a track interval 105 consisting of pre-pit arrays in the reproduction exclusive area.
