Mono-ski core

The mono-ski thin core has point (34) and tail (36) ends and a pair of opposite edges (38,40). It has a first anisotropic structure with a first principal axis along which the mechanical properties are a maximum. This first principal axis is not parallel to the longitudinal (56) or transverse (58) axes or normal. The mechanical property of the core is chosen in the group having resistance to compression, rigidity to compression, resistance to fatigue compression, resistance to traction, rigidity in traction and resistance to fatigue by traction.
