PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a trouble when a motor is operating as a generator. SOLUTION: An inverter device 1 integrated into a body with a motor 2 of a three-phase permanent-magnet motor, has a rectifier circuit 4 which receives the output of an AC power source 3, a filter capacitor 6 for its rectified output, a main circuit 7 of an inverter provided with switching devices and a flywheel diode, a control circuit 8 to which power is supplied from the filter capacitor 6, a power supply discriminating circuit 10 for discriminating the existence of the output voltage of the AC power source 3, and so forth. The control circuit 8 controls the switching operation of the inverter main circuit 7, if a high-level signal is given to the control circuit 8 from the power discriminating circuit 10 through an A/D converter circuit 13, when the power of the control circuit 8 itself has risen. But if a low-level signal is given (if it is judged that the supply of the output of the AC power source is stopped), control to stop the switching operation of the inverter main circuit 7 is performed. |
