<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of a buffer and to avoid cell overflow in the buffer in the case of transferring burst data in an asynchronous transfer network where a transmission terminal and a reception terminal are interconnected via plural nodes. SOLUTION: Cell overflow in a buffer is avoided by giving a transmission-rate reduction instruction or a tentative transmission-interruption instruction to a pre-stage node or a transmission terminal, according to a decision setting whether or not back pressure control is to be applied by using the both values for parameters after a cell storage amount and a cell storage differentiation value in the respective buffers 111, 121 in nodes 110, 120 are monitored. The efficiency of the buffers is enhanced and the required buffer capacity is reduced by monitoring not only the cell storage amount but also the cell storage differentiation value in this way.</p> |
