PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance loss of a transparent electrode layer of an inverse type photoelectromotive force device wherein a light is projected on it from the opposite side to the provision side of its substrate, even when no collecting electrode is provided on its irradiated surface. CONSTITUTION:In a photoelectromotive force device, a first electrode layer 2 so formed that a plurality of protruding parts 2a each of which is provided on a substrate 1 and is protruded in its departing direction from the substrate 1 are dotted thereon, second electrode layers 4 each of which is provided on the surface of the base of the protruding part 2a of the first electrode layer 2, photoelectric conversion layers 5 each of which is provided on the second electrode layer 4, a transparent electrode layer 6 provided on the photoelectric conversion layers 5 which is connected electrically with exposure surfaces 2b of the protruding parts 2a of the first electrode layer 2, and insulation layers 3 each of which is provided between the laminate comprising both the second electrode layer 4 and the photoelectric conversion layer 5 and the first electrode layer 2 are provided respectively. |
