<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the long-time maintenance of lubricating performance, by using any of fluoric oil, hydrocarbonic oil, polyglycolic oil and the like for lubricant applied to a surface in contact with any connecting part made of silicone resin. SOLUTION: Terminal hardware 60 is joined with a cable conductor 5 by compression, and lubricant is applied to the surfaces of the external semi- conductive layer 3 and insulating layer 4 of a cable and, if required, the internal surface of the cylindrical portion 62 of an insulating tube C. The insulating tube C is fit onto an end of the cable A and secured in a specified position. Fluoric oil, hydrocarbonic oil, or polyglycolic oil is used for the lubricant of a lubricant layer 68. Or, either of ethylene tetrafluoride resin powder and silicone resin powder in addition to, or mixed with, these oils, or the fine grain of silicone resin or ethylene tetrafluoride resin, 0.8-2μm in mean grain size is used. As a result, lubricating capability can be maintained for a long time, and field relaxing capability as designed can be maintained without degrading the electrical characteristic of the semi-conductive layer constituting a connecting part.</p> |
