PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded reproducing device capable of reducing or preventing the partial chipping of the backup member of a cleaning device, in a material to be recorded reproducing device provided with a peeling device and the cleaning device. SOLUTION: When a broken hole 22a is made in a peeling belt 22, because of its long-term abrasive contact with a cleaning roller 41, a conductive edge 41a and the conductive elastic body 27a of the surface of a backup roller come into contact with each other in the part of the broken hole 22a, so that that a current lows through the edge 41a. The current after flowing through the edge 41a is grounded through a brush contact 41 and a bridge circuit EC1 in a broken hole detecting device 90. Simultaneously with this, when the current flows through the bridge circuit EC1, this signal is amplified in an amplifier EC2 and transmitted to a control part 100, as a broken hole detecting signal. When the control part 100 receives the broken hole detecting signal, a motor is stopped to stop the cleaning roller 41 and a driving roller. |
