PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of an ultrasonic motor and the ultrasonic motor which can improve rotation efficiency, in a standing wave ultrasonic motor. SOLUTION: A stator 2 is equipped with a vibration board 3 which has a plurality of projections 5 for drive to contact with a rotor 1, and a piezoelectric element 4 which generates standing wave vibration for generating elliptic vibration in the projections 5 for drive. The vibration plate 3 has an auxiliary projection 6 for correcting the position of the polar value of standing wave vibration generated by the piezoelectric element 4 and corrects the projections 5 for drive to be positioned halfway up the vibration. |
