<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the IC card reader permitting exchange of its driving batteries and stably securing contacts for an IC card. SOLUTION: The IC card reader has a front case 12a mounted with a substrate and an inner panel 18 and a rear case 12b which is provided attachably to and detachably from the front case 12a. At the peripheral parts of the front case 12a and rear case 12b, claws 21a to 21e and 22a to 22e to be engaged with each other are formed and the rear case 12b is attachable to and detachable from the front case 12a. Consequently, the batteries V1 and V2 can be exchanged and contact pins 16a and 16b where contacts for an IC card are formed can be cleaned.</p> |
