FOCUSING CONTROLLER FOR SURVEY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing controller for a survey apparatus which is capable of focusing on a station quickly at a high accuracy without personal error. SOLUTION: The focusing controller for survey apparatus has a slide tube 26 holding a focusing lens 27 and a motor for driving this tube 26 through a motor drive control circuit 42 to make the tube 26 movable in the optical axis direction and comprises a rotation position rough control switch as an input means to the motor drive circuit 42. Rotating the rotation speed control switch causes the focusing lens to move at a speed proportional to the rotation angle of the rotation position control switch and a rotation position fine control switch is rotated to move the focusing lens to a position corresponding to the rotation angle of the rotation position control switch.
