PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device which warns a driver to pay attention by a voice and makes safer driving possible when there are traffic congestion and other traffic obstacles which are difficult to be seen form a traveling vehicle. SOLUTION: When received traffic information includes congestion information, the navigation device checks whether or not a congestion place exists within 200 meters from the summit of a climbing slope with the climbing slope ahead in the proceeding direction of a vehicle and notifies a user that here is congestion when the vehicle approaches a place that is away by 400 meters from the summit of the climbing slope. |
