PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which an image of high quality is outputted by absorbing dispersion and fluctuation of state variables in the entire device without calculating a complicated conversion table. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an original reader 11, an image processing unit 12 that processes and outputs image data fed from the original reader 11, a controller 18 that processes image data fed from an external computer 17, a writer 14 that writes a latent image of an output image on an image loading medium in response to the image data fed from the image processing unit 12 of the controller 18, and an image engine 16 that uses a development agent to visualize the latent image on the image loading medium, transfers the image on a transfer material and fixed the image through. A data converter of the device has a conversion table defining the relation between input data and output data and uses the conversion table to convert input/output characteristics of the image data. The data converter is provided to the image processing unit 12, the controller 18 and the writer 14 respectively. |
