<p>A laminated material suitable for use in the manufacture of a pipeliner, the material comprising a fibre fabric having a barrier layer melt-laminated thereto, the barrier layer comprising a film of polyolefin plastics material having a melt flow index of at leat 5 grams per 10 minutes. The laminated material is preferably made by a method embodying the invention by extruding the molten film into the gap between calender rolls where the non-woven fabric is brought into contact with the molten film to effect lamination.</p> |
