INPUT SPECIFIC INDEPENDENT SECTOR MAPPING

A system and method for providing independent sector mapping of signals associated with a first (Input 11 - 1m) and second (Input 21 - 2p) service utilizing a same multibeam (Beam 1 - Beam n) antenna system is disclosed. Switch matrixes (611-613 and 621-623) associated with each service are manipulated to selectably map sector patterns of each service. Additionally, to mitigate destructive cancellation caused by combining signals of multiple antenna beams having a signal associated with a particular sector, adjustable phase shifters (651-659 and 661-669) and/or attenuators (631-639 and 641-649) are provided in the signal paths.
