<p>Methods and apparatus are disclosed based upon dispersing bubbles in a body of liquid so as to modify the mechanical properties of the liquid. In one embodiment, a bubble concentrator (10) is interposed between a gas supply conduit (11) and the body of liquid to produce bubbles (12) of a selected size and at a suitable location to modify natural waves (20) before the waves impact a marine structure (18).</p> |
