The generation plant has a vertical mast (2) supporting a hub (3) which rotates about a horizontal axis (5), with up to four tangentially spaced radial rotor blades (8). Each blade carries a grid profile (9) with longitudinal struts radial to the rotation axis and transverse struts tangential to the rotation axis.
