SUBSTANCE: invention describes compounds of the formula (I) <EMI ID=0.284 HE=30 WI=72 TI=CHI> where a substituent Z means -Ar<SP>1</SP>,-Ar<SP>1</SP>-Ar<SP>2</SP>,-Ar<SP>1</SP>-O-Ar<SP>2</SP>,-Ar<SB>1</SB>-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>1-20</SB>-Ar<SB>2</SB>, where substituents Ar and Ar are taken independently from a group involving phenyl, dibenzofuryl, pyridinyl and substituents Ar and Ar can be substituted independently with nitro-, C<SB>1-20</SB>-alkyl-, C<SB>3-8</SB>-cycloalkyl-groups; fragment A means a bridge group and p = 2. Compounds of the formula (I) inhibit cholesterol absorption from enteric tract and inhibit activity of enzymes - cholesterol ester hydrolase and acyl-CoA-cholesterol acyltransferase and therefore compounds can be used for treatment of patients with atherosclerosis, familial hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipidemia and similar diseases.
