The chaff cutter (1) has two identical cutting units (1a,1b), each of them equipped with a rotating shaft (3,4) with radial arranged blades (5), which work in combination with a set of stationary blades (6). The two shafts (3,4) are positioned in an obtuse angle. In order to facilitate perfect cutting a funnel (8,9) is positioned in front of the two cutting units (1a,1b) and a spreading duct (10,11) at the back. No additional spreading unit is needed.
