PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ancestor memorial service means suitable for the families living remote from their ancestor's grave yard or for the people who are going to have a home in the future. SOLUTION: The interior of a rotary-type household Buddhist altar is partitioned backward and forward, and it is constituted both by a box-shaped body 1 in which a principal image housing part 6 is placed frontward and a mortuary monument housing part 8 is placed backward, and by a placing base 2 for placing the body 1, and the body 1 is fitted so as to be turnable in the right and left directions with regard to the placing base 2. When the body 1 is turned by 180 deg. from the state opposite to the principal image housing part 6, the mortuary monument housing part 8 appears in front, and accordingly while being at home a visit to a grave can be enabled as occasion demands. |
