PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bead durability and make tire more lightweight by suppressing falling of bead by using an apex rubber in large-sized pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire contains (a) a natural rubber and/or synthetic isoprene rubber and (b) a syndiotactic 1,2 structure-containing polybutadiene rubber as rubber components at a weight ratio [(a)/(b)] of (85/15) to (50/50), preferably (80/20) to (55/45) and uses a rubber composition in which polybutadiene-binding amount of 1,2-structure in syndiotactic-1,2-structure- containing polybutadiene rubber is 10 wt.% to 30 wt.% as apex, and breaking elongation (Eb) of the apex is >=250%. |
