<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound useful as a monomer for a silicon-based high polymer material by performing a one step hydrosilylation reaction of dichlorosilane with an acethylenic compound having a triple bond in anαposition in the presence of a metal complex catalyst. SOLUTION: This silicon compound is a new divinylsilane derivative expressed by any of formula I [R1 , R2 are each a 1-10C (substituted) alkyl or a (substituted) aromatic group], formula II or formula III, and useful as a synthetic intermediate for various organic silicon compound and a monomer for a silicon-based high polymer material. The compounds is obtained by performing one step hydrosilylation reaction of dichlorosilane (H2 SiCl2 ) with an acethylenic compound having a triple bond at anα-position and expressed by formula IV [X is H a 1-10C (substituted) alkyl or a (substituted) aromatic group] at 0-250 deg.C temperature range in contact with a metal complex catalyst consisting of a platinum compound, a rhodium compound, etc.</p> |
