PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry film suitably for reading a frame image on long-length photographic film and recording and reproducing magnetic information related to a frame. SOLUTION: When a film cartridge 6 housing the photographic film 2 where perforation showing a frame position is formed in every frame is used and the perforation is detected by an optical sensor 20 in the midst of carrying the film 2, carrying the film is stopped and reading the frame image is started. In the case of reading the magnetic information from the magnetic recording layer of the film 2, the magnetic information corresponding to the detected frame is read. |
