PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate which shows excellent printing durability and ink releasing property even in running processes and which has physically developing nuclei between an aluminum support and a silver halide emulsion layer. SOLUTION: This aluminum lithographic printing material has physically developing nuclei between an aluminum support and a silver halide emulsion layer, and it contains a gelatin having about <=50,000 average mol.wt. under the silver halide emulsion layer. The average mol.wt. of the gelatin is about <=50,000, preferably about 3,000 to 30,000. The average mol.wt. of <=50,000 is not a rigorous critical number but it is allowable, for example, up to about 5% as the upper limit. Therefore, as the average mol.wt. about <=50,000 is specified. |
