PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the vent cap to be cleaned, without removing the cap by forming the body integrated with support legs having wind shield plates round a mounting opening communicating with an outdoor opening of a duct connection. SOLUTION: The vent cap 1 comprises an insect net 17 covering an outside opening 12a of a dust connection 12 fitted in the inner diameter of a duct 35 fitted in a vent hole 34 of a wall 30 and windshield plate 2 mounted on the tops of four support legs 8 of the body 10 to block outside air from directly entering frontally the opening 12a of the connection 12. Exhaust air from the opening 12a first flows against the mounting plane 4a of the windshield plate 2 in front of the opening and then exhausts along the mounting plane 4a in every direction from between the plate 2 and body 10. The air flowing to the top of the body 10 is reduced at the top of an upper rectifier plate 5 and involved by an negative pressure in a space 5b near the top face into a flow weak enough to blow upwards as high as to the bottom of the eaves, thus avoiding the contamination. |
