PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain equipment with enhanced communication quality by dividing information received at a specified transmission speed into packets, sending them at a specific transmission speed in excess of the prescribed transmission speed, detecting an error rate of a transmission line and controlling the speed so as to reduce a data amount of each packet in response to the error rate. SOLUTION: When communication is started, a packet size being a 1st packet size that is a conventional packet size is set to a receiver 20, and data are assembled into packets and are sent at a nearly twice transmission speed. A transmission reception section 14 awaits a reply with respect to packets sent from the receiver 20. When a reply comes, the reception section 14 analyzes the reply. When no reply comes with respect to the packet sent from the receiver 20, it is discriminated that any fault is in existence, thus the communication is terminated. When the rely analysis indicates presence of an erroneous reply, missing data exist in the packet, thus the receiver side 20 sends information of the same packet again. |
