<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing environment where a user can select a printer or put off the printing after confirming the working condition of the printer and therefore can effectively carry on the printing. SOLUTION: This printing system includes one or more printers, plural clients, i.e., the data processors which use the printers and a print server which performs the centralized control for use of the printers. Then a means is added to the printing server to simultaneously notify all clients that are kept in a login states of the working conditions of those printers. Every client has a means which displays the working conditions of printers which are notified from the printing server.</p> |
