<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the effects with respect to crosstalks between subscriber lines with each other and to improve a data transmission capability by optimizing a sending power level within the range of normally maintaining a transmission speed set, based on an S/N ratio. SOLUTION: A microprocessor sets a sending power level to a maximum level (S300). It enables fundamental communication (S302) by sending a test signal, analyzes a sub-channel state by fundamental communication enable and sets a bit rate (S304). Next, it checks whether noise margin is larger than a reference value (S306). Then, it repeatedly performs a fundamental communication enable process, after having a sending power level decremented by one step (S308). As a result of this, when the noise margin becomes smaller than the reference value, it sets the sending power level to the power level of the previous stage (S310). Finally, it starts communication normally (S312), after transmitting the content optimized in this way to an ADLS-TUR.</p> |
