COLORING COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER OF FUEL-COLOR PANEL DISPLAY, PRODUCTION OF COLOR FILTER LAYER AND ARTICLE ATTACHED WITH COLOR FILTER LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coloring compsn. which has excellent color reproducibility and is capable of making display of sharp image information by forming color filter(CF) layers on a glass substrate of a display panel, thereby executing color correction of red phosphors, green phosphors and blue phosphors. SOLUTION: The coloring agents of the coloring compsn. for forming the CF layers contain chromatic color inorg. pigments for the color correction of the red phosphors, the green phosphors and the blue phosphors. The colored films like color filter patterns corresponding to the phosphor layers are formed on the glass substrate by using chromatic color inorg. pigments for color correction and low melting glass frit as a hot meltable binder of the chromatic color inorg. pigments and the coloring agents contg. the org. binder for dispersing the same in the process for production of the CF layers of the substrate. The org. binder is burned at 450 to 900 deg.C and is removed. In addition, the glassy binder is thermally melted and the chromatic color inorg. pigments are fixed to the substrate.
