Controlling flight altitude of guided missile

The missile is guided by signals transmitted from the control station in order to control missile pitch. Flight altitude is monitored and when the missile receives a pitch control signal that forces the missile to drop towards a pre-determined minimum altitude the pitch control signal is modified after it has been received by the missile, so that it is controlled by the modified signal to keep it flying at an altitude at least equal to the pre-determined minimum level. An Independent claim is also included for the missile flight altitude control system, comprising altimeters linked to a control tool that receives the pitch control signal from a remote location.
