The present invention relates to a retainer device for the passengers of a vehicle strapped by a seat belt. The retainer device further includes a shoulder arrester (10e) which is inserted in the seat back or pivotally mounted on the same. The shoulder arrester is used for retaining both shoulders of a passenger upon a collision.
