Removing albumin from liquid by affinity chromatography, for purification of fluids or albulmin recovery

Separation of albumin (I) from biological liquids comprises passing the liquid through a chromatography column loaded with the peptide FHENWPS (II). The (I)-free eluate is then collected and the column regenerated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) peptide (II) or peptide that includes its sequence; and (2) chromatography material, for separation of (I), comprising a conventional support coated with a peptide containing sequence (II).
