PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form high-quality color images without a shift among color images. SOLUTION: An FG Hall element in a polygon motor 111 generates a predetermined count of FG signals when detecting a permanent magnet while a polygon mirror 3a rotates deflecting a light beam based on input image information and scanning on a rotated photosensitive drum 1. The rotation of the photosensitive drum 1 is controlled by a transfer body-driving motor control circuit 115 on the basis of a relationship of a count of scan faces by the polygon mirror 3a and a count of FG signals generated from the polygon motor 111 in one rotation of the polygon mirror 3a. |
