PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture adapter capable of transmitting ultrasonic and projecting a puncture needle in an ultrasonic tomogram and also capable of surely fixing the puncture needle. SOLUTION: An adapter 2 is attached to a ultrasonic probe 1, and a puncture needle is inserted into a needle guide 3 of the puncture adapter 2. When the puncture needle 4 is pushed in the direction A to an inserting hole of the needle guide 3, the puncture needle 4 is pressed against a corner part 3a of the needle guide and its diagonal corner part 3c to be fixed on an axis of the scanning direction. By pressing the puncture needle 4 against the inserting hole of the needle guide 3 in the direction B, the puncture needle 4 is pressed against the corner part 3b of the needle guide and the corner part 3d in its diagonal direction to be fixed on the axis of the scanning direction. |
