PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicate having narrow crystalline particle diameter distribution by adding a colloidal seed crystal material having <= a specific crystalline particle diameter into an aq. reaction product containing a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali cation source and water and keeping under the condition of hydrothermic reaction while heating. SOLUTION: The colloidal seed crystal material having <=0.5μm crystal particle diameter such as an ultrafine siliceous crystalline material or a crystalline aluminousilicate is added by 0.5-7000 wt.ppm into the aq. reaction mixture containing the silica source, the alumina source, the alkali cation source as inorganic reaction materials and water and having SiO2 /Al2 O3 of 10-100, M2/n / SiO2 of 0.01-0.12, H2 O/SiO2 of 10-100 and X<-> /SiO2 of 0-1 by molar ratio (M represents a metallic cation, (n) represents the valency and X<-> represents an anion of a mineralizing agent). The mixture is allowed to hydrothermally react at pH 9-11 and 100-200 deg.C for 5 hr to 10 day and the resultant product is filtered, washed, dried, fired at >=200 deg.C in an inert gas and dehydrated to obtain the TSZ aluminosilicate having <=3μm particle diameter.
